My Vintage Jewelry Collection

Just thought I'd share some of my vintage jewelry collection, so you can see the jewelry which has inspired me throughout the years with its beauty, elegance, grace, and glitz.  Not all pieces shown here are vintage (but they will be someday!), but most are - I hope you enjoy them!  Click on the photos to see larger ones.

Necklace & Earring Set by BeeGee McBride

I bought this beautiful glitzy set from BeeGee years ago....it's remained in my small collection, and will always!  The colors are just gorgeous, don't you think? :)

Blue & Pink Haskell? Earrings

The style of these earrings looks like Haskell to me.  They are not signed.  They have glowing blue oval stones in the center, surrounded by blue beads, blue prong set rhinestones, pink beads, and baroque pearls, all wired onto the filigree clip backs.  Very nice "ear climbers", though a couple of the pearls have peeled.

Emerald Green Rhinestone Brooch

What a showstopper!  Gorgeous glitz here...emerald green rhinestone navettes, round emerald green aurora borealis rhinestones, and clear rhinestones - all prong set - all intact.  The brooch is gold plated.  Austrian, perhaps?

Coro Humongous Blue Stone Brooch

What a stunner!  Very cool style in a big way.  Brooch is gold plated and marked Coro on the back.  Definitely not for the faint of heart...it measures 3" across. Just my style! :)

Renoir Copper Flower Brooch

I love the glow of copper.  This brooch is still in amazing condition and is signed Renoir on the back.  It's a great piece which can be worn with just about anything!  The flower motif got my attention with this one.

Pink Glitzy Rhinestone Bracelet

Another showstopper!  Two huge pink givre rhinestones are mounted on each side, while the center contains a mix of pink and pink aurora borealis rhinestones, pearls and iridescent navettes, all mixed with golden leaves.  The sides contain two rows of stunning pink aurora borealis prong set rhinestones.  Setting is gold plated and the bracelet has a safety chain as well.  Perfect condition - no missing stones.  The same bracelet in greens is featured in Marcia Brown's Unsigned Beauties book on page 164.

Huge Lion Pendant/Brooch

This boy has been in my collection a long time.  He isn't signed, so I don't know who made him, but he is gorgeous!  He's created in gold with a silver mane, and he has a rhinestone eye.  He is a brooch, and also a pendant, as the chain ends are attached to the top of his body.  You'd have to know what you're doing to remove the chain (which I could do it and re-attach it because I have the tools) and wear it only as a brooch.  I've chosen to leave the chain intact and wear him as a necklace only.  I'll try to get some more photos of him up.

Honkin Rhinestone Lion Brooch/Pendant

I seem to like these brooch/pendant combos!  This fella is shown in silver in Marcia Brown's book Unsigned Beauties on page 69.  Mine is in gold, he has two more whiskers, and has more rhinestones.  The rhinestones on mine are two shades of topaz (light and dark) and green for the eyes. His mane is made of rat tail chain.  Excellent condition and another piece not for the faint of heart.  :)
