Today's Daily Texture is filled with beautiful, luminous colors you'd find at the beach and the ocean.  I used this texture on both of the images shown below.  For the Boxer from the Spirit Of The Dog Series, I masked out his background and placed him on top of the left side of the texture.  I duplicated the texture and placed it on top, setting it to soft light at 100% to bring out a bit more color.  The sea shell and pearls still life was a quick and easy one, with no masking involved.  I photographed these objects on a white piece of watercolor paper in natural light outside.  Then I placed the texture on top and set it to hard light layer mode at 100%.  The white background enabled the photo to pick up the colors of the texture very quickly this way.
