Over The Autumn Treeline - Brushstrokes
 | Time for something a little different! Today's Daily Texture features a new combination I'm trying of my hand painted chalk textures, paired with digitally added brushstrokes to create a more abstract, painterly look. I paired this autumn-toned texture with a photograph of a Harris Hawk in flight. I masked the background away from the flying hawk, and placed him where I wanted him on top of the texture. Then I duplicated the texture layer twice, placing both on top. I set one to multiply at about 30% and the other to soft light at about 30% to generate the result you see here. |
