If you have something or someone who deserves to be in the spotlight, you'll enjoy Today's Daily Texture.  I used this texture with this delightful long-haired Dachshund, who definitely deserved to be in the spotlight with his cute pose and alert expression.  First, I masked away his busy dog show background, and placed him where I wanted him on a layer above the original texture.  Then I duplicated the texture layer twice, placing both on top.  I set one of those duplicated layers to multiply at 30% and the other to soft light at 30%.  Then I masked some off of the dog on both layers.  Now he truly shines in his very own spotlight. :)
