 Like this texture? Buy it here for only $2. Commercial Use OK. | Today's Daily Texture is rich with deep blues, greens, gold and brown, and is one which will work well with so many subjects! I actually had trouble deciding what subject to work with, but finally settled on this gorgeous Caracal wildcat that I finally managed to get a decent photo of this year. I placed him on top of the texture and masked away his background. Then I duplicated the texture and placed it on top, setting it to soft light layer mode. This allowed his fur to pick up the tones of the texture and placed a nice light on his head. After merging, I applied a medium strength vignette around the edges to bring the focus clearly to his face. |
